This is an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join the award winning Clinical Trials Team.

You must be a Pharmacy Technician, registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

The post holder will be an integral member of the multi-disciplinary Clinical trials team with a strong focus on the delivery of a safe and efficient service.

The ideal candidate will be responsible, diligent and enthusiastic with good communication and problem solving skills. You will be required to work to the strict guidance of ICH GCP, the European Clinical Trials Directive, Trust and Departmental SOPs. You should have excellent organisational skills as it is essential that you are able to prioritise work and ensure all clinical trial documentation is accurate and legible.

In this role you will be expected to liaise with multidisciplinary research teams, commercial companies, non-commercial organisations, clinicians and the local Research & Innovation Department to ensure comprehensive clinical trials support, therefore a professional attitude to the role is essential. Clinical trials experience is desirable but not essential.

Gweithio i'n sefydliad

Our new strategy, developed with the support and feedback of colleagues, patients, and partners, is our compass for the next seven years (2023-2030).

We have four primary goals:

  • high-quality care for all,
  • being a great place to work,
  • partnerships for impact, and
  • research and education excellence

And we will embed health equality in all we do - taking active steps to reduce the avoidable differences in healthcare that some people face, working in partnership with communities.

Our strategy is underpinned by new values and we will work to ensure they are an everyday reality for all:

  • we are compassionate,
  • we are proud,
  • we are inclusive, and
  • we are one team

This is an exciting moment as we look to the future with clarity on what we already do well and where we need to focus our energies to make an even bigger difference for the people we serve.
