  • Working in a procurement department or equivalent experience

  • Working in a health service environment

Knowledge

Essential criteria
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office – Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Knowledge of basic procurement principles

  • Basic negotiation with suppliers
  • Knowledge of Public Procurement Legislation

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • GCSE pass in Maths and English* C or 4 above
Desirable criteria
  • NVQ level 3, Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Foundation Stage*
