We are excited to welcome a Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP) to join our Lucy Project team, where you will provide high-quality, low-intensity psychological therapies to children and young people (CYP) with mild to moderate emotional and mental health concerns.

About You

• Postgraduate qualification as a Children’s Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP).

• Registration with BABCP or BPS as a Children’s Wellbeing Practitioner.

• CWP Supervisors (PGCert) or equivalent experience

• Experience working with young people facing common mental health issues.

• Experience developing and delivering evidence-based IAPT low-intensity interventions, including group psychoeducation and guided self-help.

Main duties of the job

Reporting to the Principal Clinical Psychologist, your responsibilities will include:

• Deliver psychological interventions, including CBT and self-help techniques.

• Provide support to families to ensure participation in treatment and involvement in the therapeutic process.

• Collaborate with community and external services to ensure holistic support for CYP and their families.

• Supervise and provide training to junior team members, promoting a positive and collaborative team environment.

• Work with senior clinical and managerial teams to contribute to the development and expansion of early intervention services.
