We are recruiting for a Registered Nurse for Endoscopy who wish to join #TeamIOWNHS. You should share our passion and drive to ensure that our patients receive quality and compassionate care and work with us!

The department strives to promote effective working relationships within the multi-disciplinary team. As a valued team member, you will be expected to work in line with the Organisation’s General Compliance mandate.

The post holder will work with the wider Endoscopy team to support care and interventions. This will include working in the Endoscopy theatres, admission/recovery/pre assessment areas and the decontamination rooms.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

As a member of the Endoscopy Team, you will be responsible for providing an agreed standard of individualised care to allocated group of patients.  This also involves maintaining written records.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
  • Willingness to undertake further Professional Study Days.
  • Awareness of NHS plan targets relating to patients who attend the unit.
  • Knowledge of Trust policies and procedures.

Physical Skills

  • Physically capable of performing the role and responsibilities expected of the post holder e.g., manual handling of patients.

Aptitudes
