Applications are invited for the position of Recruitment and Employment Services Officer.  

A Level 3 CIPD qualification is essential; however, candidates with relevant experience will also be considered, with support available to achieve the qualification if required.
 

As a Recruitment & Employment Services Officer you will guide candidates through the recruitment, on-boarding and employment services processes including with a wide range of contract queries and changes.

You will have a passion for recruitment and the ability to build strong and effective working relationships with recruiting managers and candidates.

Main duties of the job

Your responsibilities include providing professional advice to managers and staff across the Trust ensuring strict adherence with agreed processes, schedules, employment law and Trust policies and procedures in line with NHS Employment Check Standards and Agenda for Change throughout the recruitment process.

You will be responsible for the accurate maintenance of electronic HR systems including TRAC and ESR, ensuring that recruitment and ESR processes are completed safely, accurately and within the service’s key performance indicators.

  • Experience of working in a Human Resources/ Personnel/ Recruitment environment.
  • Administration / general office experience
Desirable criteria
  • NHS Experience, in particular NHS recruitment experience

Skills

Essential criteria
  • Good knowledge of using Microsoft Office / computer skills
  • Excellent keyboard skills

Knowledge

Essential criteria
  • Working knowledge of Data Protection
  • Understanding of Information Governance and Confidentiality

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Good general education. Passes (A-C) in GCSE English and Maths or equivalent
  • Level 3 CIPD qualification or equivalent experience
Desirable criteria
  • ECDL (or equivalent)
