Ward 230 are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join their busy work family.
We specialise in Gastroenterology and Hepatology which is a fast paced, ever changing speciality that requires team members who are dedicated to providing high standards of care. Our patients conditions are very complex in nature and require individuals who are empathetic, caring and non judgemental.
Main duties of the job
Main duties of the role are to organise and provide a programme of appropriate social, person centred activities in order to build confidence, promote self-esteem and aid the rehabilitation process. To act as a link person between the ward area and voluntary community based agencies.
Undertake assigned duties involving direct patient care under the supervision of the qualified nurse. To assist the staff to meet the physical, psychological and spiritual needs of the patient.
Within this role, the aim would be to assist in health promotion activities to aid their recovery and psychological well-being.
