Our journey at Neuro Rehab Nutrition began in June 2019 with a clear mission: to help individuals achieve their rehabilitation goals through optimal nutrition. We started with a small team dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those with brain injuries, spinal injuries, and complex trauma injuries. We understood that proper nutrition and hydration are essential for the body to function, repair, and adapt. We also knew that poor nutrition could lead to weight gain, diabetes, heart disease, stroke, fatigue, and mood issues. From the outset, we were committed to providing evidence-based, client-focused care to address these challenges.

As we have grown our team has expanded to include dietitian associates with diverse skills, as well as GP and pharmacist colleagues. This growth allowed us to offer a more comprehensive approach to our clients' health and nutrition needs. Collaborating with leading professors and universities such as Cambridge and Salford became a cornerstone of our practice, ensuring that our methods were always grounded in the latest scientific research. Engaging with students and involving them in our innovative projects has also been a rewarding part of our journey, driving the development of new and exciting advancements in the field of nutrition.

Today, at Neuro Rehab Nutrition, we specialise in supporting clients with a wide range of needs, including brain injuries, spinal injuries, complex trauma injuries, gastrointestinal issues, and functional neurological disorders (FND). We work with a multidisciplinary team (MDT) to help clients make healthier lifestyle choices through education, support, and training of support workers. Our services have expanded to include shopping trips, cookery sessions, meal planning, and nutritional education, providing the foundations needed to maximise health and rehabilitation outcomes.

We are particularly proud of our weight management service, Neuro Rehab Weight Management Ltd, which helps clients achieve and maintain a healthy weight through personalised plans and support. Additionally, we offer comprehensive phlebotomy services, ensuring our clients have access to essential blood tests and assessments as part of their nutritional care.

Based in Cheshire but with a talented network of dietitians across England and Wales, we help people across the country, always striving to bring hope to our clients through tailored nutritional interventions.

Salary: The starting salary is £66,876.20, which includes allowances totalling £17,206.20.

The salary is broken down as £49,670. basic salary. Plus, a shift allowance of 20% and a location allowance of £2,009 and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000. Plus a market supplement allowance of £5,000.

As a Senior Custody Healthcare Practitioner, you’ll bring your clinical expertise to a role that sits at the heart of safe, effective custody healthcare. Working across a cluster of police custody suites, you’ll help create an environment where detainees receive the right care, and colleagues feel supported to deliver it. It’s a senior, hands-on role where your judgement, confidence and leadership will make a real difference every day.

Speech and Language Therapist

About the role

As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will deliver a high standard of client-focused care, supporting children and young people aged 0–19 and, where required, adults. You will assess, formulate, and deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy interventions for individuals with a wide range of speech, language and communication needs, maintaining accurate and timely clinical records and reports.

A significant proportion of the role is delivered within educational settings. You will work directly with children one-to-one and in groups, and you will also provide practical training, advice, and strategies to school staff and parents/carers to help them support communication development in everyday environments

You will work collaboratively with the wider Community Health Team, alongside Primary Care and Education colleagues, contributing to joined-up care and effective pathways for families. The role includes participating in Early Help Assessments, attending multi-agency meetings as appropriate, and contributing to SLT service development activity, including team development days and shared learning.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our thriving and rapidly expanding clinical trials team in Newquay.

Our unit is a leading Primary Care site within the NIHR Cornwall and Devon Commercial Research Delivery Centre (CRDC), delivering commercial clinical trials in partnership with major pharmaceutical companies. Due to our continued growth, we are expanding our team to support an increasing and diverse portfolio of studies.

About the role

Dementia UK has two Admiral Nurse positions available:

1 x permanent position

1 x 12-month fixed term contract

Join our Helpline and Clinics team as an Admiral Nurse and bring your specialist dementia nursing expertise to support family carers, people affected by dementia, and professionals who require specialist advice. You’ll be a key member of our team, providing biopsychosocial support through our National Dementia Helpline and Virtual Clinic appointments.

As an Admiral Nurse, you’ll be responsible for providing nursing support and expertise, offering practical guidance to colleagues, the general public, those with dementia, and others in supporting family and relationship-centred approaches to dementia care. You’ll also lead and coordinate shifts as required, providing clinical supervision to others and assist with the development, evaluation, audit of the service. You’ll benefit from monthly Practice Action Learning (PALS) and a range of learning opportunities to support your ongoing professional development.

To be successful in this position, you’ll need to be an active Registered Nurse on the NMC register with a post-registration qualification or training in dementia care or a relevant subject. You will have significant experience of practicing as an Admiral Nurse or dementia specialist nurse and previously worked with people who have dementia and their family carers and supporters in different settings.

Strong communication skills are essential, as is a proven track record of providing high standards of clinical leadership and specialist nursing support. You should be adept at providing clinical advice, clinical supervision, and advocating for family carers.

The service operates from Monday to Friday 9am-9pm and 9am-5pm on Saturdays and Sundays on a rostering basis.
