Chiropody/Podiatry
Chiropodists, or podiatrists, play an important role in helping people, particularly older people, to stay mobile by keeping feet in a healthy condition.
Entry Requirements
To train as a podiatrist or chiropodist you need to undertake a three year full time degree course at a recognised school of podiatry. Applicants for the degree course will generally need 2 A levels, one of which should be science based.
Applications should be made via UCAS .
Once you have qualified you need to be state registered. Chiropodists are State registered by the Health Professions Council (HPC) .
