The Vocational Recovery Services of West London NHS operates across 3 pathways, Job Retention, Work Experience and IPS.
We are recruiting to the post of IPS Employment Specialist in a newly expanded service in West London NHS, covering Ealing Early Intervention team. You will deliver IPS in the Early Intervention Services (EIS), working with a caseload of service users in the borough of Ealing who are newly diagnosed with psychosis. You will help to plan and problem solve employment issues within the IPS fidelity framework. As an employment specialist in the team, you will work alongside experienced clinicians who will rely on you to create employment options by networking with local employers, Jobcentre Plus and other organisations to help find paid work job opportunities for our service users.
The team of Employment Specialists in West London will deliver a high fidelity IPS service. You’ll need to be assertive and adaptable, with a positive attitude about employment for all and excellent networking and interpersonal skills. The ability to travel in a timely manner around the borough of Ealing and surrounding areas is also essential. Training in the IPS framework will be provided, but prior knowledge of this approach would be an advantage
