Academic Geriatrician – Niagara Campus
The Department of Medicine, Faculty of Health Sciences at McMaster University invite applications for a full-time Academic Geriatrician.
The successful candidate will be a full-time member of the Division of Geriatrics and is expected to contribute to the academic mission of the Faculty and Division. Clinical activities will take place within Niagara Health including the In-patient Geriatric consultation service, and Ambulatory Geriatric clinics and/or outreach programs.

The transformation of healthcare service delivery across Niagara continues with planning underway to build an additional ultramodern hospital in South Niagara to provide accessible and quality healthcare to residents of the Southern Region. The successful candidate may be a Clinician Educator or Research Educator and should be eligible for an academic appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor. The prospective appointee with demonstrated capabilities in teaching, administration and/or clinical research are will be highly desirable. In addition, the successful candidate will hold a MD degree with Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Certification or equivalent in Geriatric Medicine and must be licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the Province of Ontario.
The Division of Geriatric Medicine at McMaster University in Niagara, Ontario currently includes a collegial group of three Geriatricians along with Care of the Elderly affiliated physicians and clinicians.
