What are we looking for?

Cleveland Clinic London are looking to recruit a Staff Nurse to join our Neuro-Rehabilitation team with a highly competitive salary range up to £45,000 depending upon experience.

The Neuro-Rehabilitation Staff Nurse will be responsible for leading an effective and proactive team, the post-holder will drive the delivery of high quality and innovative nursing practice consistent with regulatory and professional requirements.

This is a full time, permanent position would require the post holder to work up to 37.5 hours per week.

This is a Monday-Sunday, Days/Nights/Weekends role with the following shift patterns:

  • Monday to Sunday Long Days– 0730-2000 
  • Monday to Sunday Nights – 1930-0800 
  • Bank Holidays – 0730-2000 & 1930-0800 

There may be opportunities to join our team on a part time basis.

Our 40-bed acute/neurorehabilitation unit has two dedicated therapy gyms and is designed for the best possible patient experience. Our team uses the latest specialist rehabilitation techniques, including cutting-edge robotic equipment and advanced exoskeletons, to help support our patients’ recovery. Within the floor our specialists deliver neurological and limb rehabilitation with advanced robotic devices that look at gross movement and fine dexterity movement. We can offer a higher intensity of therapy to work towards improved outcomes for patients. There is also a Bariatric Bed Room and an Isolation Bed Room to offer specialist facilities to enhance comfort and clinical care, and controlled air flow respectively.

 

What will your duties include?

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with CCL’s established policies, procedures and protocols.
  • To prioritise nursing care, recognise deterioration in a patient’s condition and escalate to the senior nursing team/clinicians immediately. 
  • Evaluate, update and revise plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes.
  • Adhere to the NMC code of conduct and acts as the patient advocate at all times.
  • Participate effectively at the Quality improvements initiatives for the ward ensures that the Ward KPI’s are achieved and are aligned with CCL quality standards.

 

​​​What we need from you?

  • Experience working in a neurological or spinal rehabilitation setting
  • Current nursing registration (First Level) through the Nursing & Midwifery Council 
  • Must be willing to undertake relevant post-registration courses
  • ILS provider course completed and qualification in required upon hire, or within 3 month of hire
  • Track record of achievement of objectives in present and past jobs in the clinical field
