TEAM ADMINISTRATOR

Agenda for Change Band 3

37.5 hours per week

Applications are invited for the post of Team Administrator within the Specialist Network based in a central location (West Strand House).   

 

 

Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide a comprehensive administration and information service and coordinate their activities with other members of the administration team to ensure an efficient and confidential service is provided.  The post holder will be aligned to clinical teams and is therefore required to work flexibly in response to the needs of the service.  They will provide cover to other teams on various sites as and when required when directed by the Team Leader to ensure continuity of a quality service.

 

The post holder will be the first point of contact for the unit / department providing a comprehensive customer service.  The Team Administrator duties will also include minute taking, finance duties and will require a flexible approach to work on a rota to cover a 9-5 service x 7 days a week.  Weekend working will be based at Wesham Rehab Unit.

Education

Essential criteria
  • NVQ Level 3 in Customer Care or Business Administration – or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrable commitment to continuous personal development.

Knowledge

Essential criteria
  • Awareness of issues in the Mental Health Network.
  • Knowledge of a range of administrative procedures and practice.

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Previous experience as a Secretary/Administrator including diary management
  • Previous experience of working in a fast moving, confidential, sensitive, pressurised deadline driven environment.
  • Experience of supporting and minuting meetings.
