ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking an outstanding and committed candidate for the position of Executive Director Nursing and Midwifery.

This role leads the development of systems and strategies to deliver regional, publicly funded nursing and midwifery services that are aligned to the needs of country WA. As a clinical leader you will work collaboratively with the executive and service partners to drive nursing and midwifery initiatives that are innovative, utilise technology, embrace change and shape policy.

To be considered for this role, you must demonstrate your strategic nursing leadership experience within a dynamic and complex health environment. You will be skilled in planning, developing and coordinating nursing and midwifery services with a focus on patient care, clinical priorities and quality programs. This will be supported by your commitment to the continuous improvement of clinical standards and safety performance.

This is an extremely rewarding position within WACHS and is the leadership role for nursing staff across the organisation. If you are dedicated to leading a cohesive team in providing extraordinary care, with the energy and drive to advance the achievement of a skilled and sustainable workforce, this may be the role for you.

The successful candidate will be eligible for registration as a general Registered Nurse in accordance with the National Regulatory Board requirements and hold a Nursing Tertiary qualification.
