Job overview
We are seeking for a Rotational Dietitian to join our team of 17 Dietitians at Watford General Hospital.
West Hertfordshire NHS Trust is a busy acute district general hospital, with most of the main caseload now centralised at the Watford Hospital site.
This role is well-suited to a newly qualified Dietitian looking to develop their knowledge, skills, and experience in a supportive environment. The successful candidate will work across a range of clinical areas, including Care of the Elderly, Diabetes, Surgery, General Medicine, Respiratory, Stroke, and Gastroenterology.
Main duties of the job
Each rotation is supported by a robust senior tier with a wealth of experience to help guide and support in both your individual learning needs but to also strive to ensure that the best standards of care are provided. A well-established supervision, probationary, and appraisal process is in place to help facilitate this.
We offer In-Service training opportunities, course funding both externally and through departmental links, and are actively involved in training student dietitians from the University of Hertfordshire as well as other healthcare professionals.
