We offer competitive SELF-EMPLOYED pay rate:-

Paramedic (SE) Days - £26.50

Paramedic (SE) Nights and Weekends - £28.00

You can claim for £30 contribution to your accommodation whilst working for us (Only Self-Employed staff)

PAYE/ BANK Pay Rates:-

Salary = £51,324-£54,600 per Annum based on a 5 on 4 off rota, working different shift times!

Paramedic (PAYE) Days - £23.50

Paramedic (PAYE) Nights - £25.00

What will you be doing:

  • Working as part of a team, with either an Emergency Medical Technician or an Emergency Care Assistant.
  • Mentoring staff such as Newly Qualified Paramedics, Emergency Medical Technicians and Emergency Care Assistants.
  • Providing lifesaving treatment and stabilising patients, preparing them for transporting.
  • Using your own appropriate knowledge and skills to make judgements and treatment following your level of training and competency.
  • Responding to operational requirements in a safe and efficient way as directed by the Emergency Operations Centre.
  • Driving all types of approved Ambulance Service vehicles under normal and emergency (blue light) conditions in accordance with road traffic law.

Role Requirements:

  • Hold a UK manual ‘Category B’ driving licence for at least 1 years and no more than 6 points on your licence, as well as being over the age of 23 (for insurance purposes).
  • ·You will hold a paramedic qualification, be on the HCPC register and hold an emergency driving qualification.
  • Physical fitness is important in this role as there is sometimes a requirement to reach inaccessible patients in a hurry, carry out manual handling and CPR.
  • Have a warm and caring personality with the ability to connect with people.
  • Lastly, you will have quality references covering the last three years of employment history and a satisfactory, enhanced DBS check.
