The post holder will provide essential administrative and clerical support within a mental health service environment, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations for clinical and medical teams. 

This includes managing telephone and face-to-face enquiries, maintaining accurate records, handling confidential information in line with Trust policies, and supporting the Single Point of Access process.
Key responsibilities involve data entry, appointment scheduling, document preparation, and supporting patients, carers, and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner. The role requires strong organisational and communication skills, basic IT proficiency, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

The job holder will support service improvement by contributing to discussions on procedures and new ways of working and will be expected to maintain high standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism always. Occasional audio typing, stock management, and peer support duties may also be required, alongside a commitment to personal development and mandatory training.

The job holder will work as part of a team to provide an efficient and effective secretarial and administration service to the clinical care pathways under the direction of the Support Service Team Co-ordinator, and in line with the agreed job plan.
