Part Time - 16 hours per week

We are looking for a part time Staff Nurse to work on Buckley Ward at our Woodview Unit, Clitheroe. 

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, suitably qualified, experienced and forward thinking individual to join the teams at Woodview. 

You will be provided with a comprehensive induction and have the opportunity to engage in ongoing training, including the opportunity to undertake a structured preceptorship programme to support your professional development.

Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd

As a Band 5 Registered Nurse (Mental Health or Learning Disabilities) the post holder will be a Registered Nurse (RN) working in an inpatient mental health setting as part of the multidisciplinary team and carry out a diverse range of duties including the assessment, formulation, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of nursing care that is evidence-based, person centred and recovery focused. With the support of the Ward Manager and their deputies the post holder will lead and contribute to the smooth running of the unit in a consistent way that reflects the Trusts values.

As a Registered Nurse within the team you will be regularly supported and supervised by a nominated Registered Nurse and you will be encouraged and supported to take personal responsibility for clinical supervision and your continued professional development plan. The post holder will exercise professional accountability and responsibility using skills, knowledge and expertise as outlined within the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and policies and procedures.

If the post holder is new to the NMC register they will undertake a period of preceptorship overseen by a named Preceptor within your team and engage in the trusts Preceptorship programme

  • Can demonstrate a working knowledge of physical health conditions and the complications that this can cause to patients experiencing mental ill health.

Experience
