Are you passionate about improving the experience of the people of Lancashire and South Cumbria who require an inpatient admission? If so, come and join our team within the Bed Management and Patient Flow Service at Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust.
We are seeking a highly skilled nurse, social worker or Occupational Therapist to join our Bed Management team in the role of Clinical Flow Manager.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be based at Sceptre Point, Sceptre Way, Walton Summit, and will be responsible for providing strong, visible day to day clinical leadership to the bed management team supporting on all bed management related issues.
This role will be achieved through close liaison with the flow leads and locality inpatient teams. To provide support to the bed management team in maintaining clinical capacity to accommodate admissions and escalate delays.
The post holder will be required to work long days including weekends and nights to support the Bed Management Team and on call managers with any flow related escalation out of hours. The post holder will work closely with the Out of hours Duty Matron to escalate any clinical concerns and work together to support the organisation.
