Are you an Advanced Clinical Practitioner with a passion for Adult Mental Health care? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join Fylde Coast Home Based Treatment team (HBTT)
Fylde Coast HBTT is an adults Community Mental Health urgent care service based at the gateway, Blackpool football stadium covering the Fylde Coast locality
We are a 7 day a week service covering 24hr time period
The role will be Monday-Friday 9-5pm
We are a multi- disciplinary team, with close working links with other health departments, social services and voluntary agencies.
Our service users can present with mental health difficulties which are often combined with complex social care and physical health needs.
Main duties of the job
• Exercise advanced clinical expertise, levels of judgement, discretion and decision making in the delivery of clinical care. Provide advanced clinical skills in relation to assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management of the service user group. Promote recovery based care programmes and set high standards for the delivery of care to patients and their families and be responsible for delivering high quality services.
• Work as a member of the multi-disciplinary team providing mental health services to Urgent care community settings
• Contribute to the medical prescribing provision within the team through supportive dedicated Non-Medical prescribing.
• Work collaboratively as part of the multidisciplinary teams developing shared goals, complementing the roles of others to support and maintain team growth and continuous improvement.

Education / Qualifications
Essential criteria
- MSc Advanced Clinical Practice.
- First degree in Registered Health profession.
- Registered Practitioner.
- Evidence of professional updating and development in the delivery of service to people with mental illness.
- Non-Medical prescribing.
Knowledge
Essential criteria
- In-depth knowledge of a range of approaches to mental health assessment and of psychosocial interventions.
- Knowledge and understanding of current issues/legislation driving recovery focussed care.
- Demonstrates the ability and knowledge on how to undertake audit and feedback to clinicians.
- Ability to critically analyse clinical practice and identify and implement improvements.
Experience
Essential criteria
- Minimum of 5 years post qualification.
- Detailed understanding of relevant legislation e.g. Mental Capacity Act and Mental Health Act and its application to an Acute Hospital setting.
- Significant evidence of delivering teaching programmes to staff groups.
- Evidence of presentations at local, regional and national level.
Personal
Essential criteria
- Evidence of diplomacy and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work across organisations and to influence people across stakeholder networks.
