Highly Specialist Physiotherapist, Clinical Specialist
Therapy Links UK provides impactful services for families, educators, and professionals, aiming to reach and support as many people in the community as possible. We support babies, children, and young people up to age 25 who have communication, health, and developmental differences. Whether they have speech. language & communication needs, learning disabilities, or complex health needs, we provide specialist therapy and support to help them find their voice, build confidence, and thrive. We are based in Southwark with schools across Southwark, Lambeth, Lewisham, Greenwich, Bromley & Bexley.
We’re excited to offer a unique opportunity for a self-motivated and creative Highly Specialist Physiotherapist to join Therapy Links UK.
This is the sole physiotherapy role within our service, giving you the chance to shape and lead the development of our physiotherapy provision from the ground up. You’ll be fully supported by our leadership team and benefit from expert external clinical supervision, ensuring you feel confident and connected in your role.
You’ll be working as part of a well-established multi-disciplinary team across two specialist colleges for young adults with learning disabilities (ages 19–25), located in Bexley and Lambeth. The therapy team is deeply embedded in both settings, with strong relationships across staff and leadership, and a collaborative culture that supports innovation and creativity.
Caseloads are small and manageable, allowing you to deliver high-quality, flexible physiotherapy support tailored to the needs of each college. You’ll have the opportunity to:
-
Lead universal and targeted projects promoting general fitness and wellbeing.
-
Support students with more complex needs to engage in physical activity and disability sports, both within and beyond the college environment.
-
Help young adults prepare for life after college through meaningful, movement-based interventions.
In addition to your clinical work, you’ll be part of the TLUK leadership team, contributing to service-wide clinical excellence and governance. Your role will ensure our physiotherapy provision is evidence-based, impactful, and aligned with best practice.
We’re committed to supporting you in this role, with both internal and external supervision and a strong team ethos.
