We are proud of our heritage in innovation and we are early adopters of new insights in technologies, techniques and treatments for improving health.
Job overview
We are looking for 2 enthusiastic and dynamic Band 6 dietitian's - one substantive and one FTC - to join our B6 rotational team where you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills, but also be involved in service development and student training.
There are ten rotations each lasting one year: two at St Mary’s Hospital: Critical care, Liver/respiratory; four of which are based at Charing Cross Hospital: Stroke, Gastroenterology, ICU/Neurosciences, Head and Neck/Oncology and four at Hammersmith Hospital: Renal, Gastroenterology/medical, Haemato-oncology and ICU/Cardiothoracic/Cardiology. Rotations occur in April each year.
Our current vacancies are both at the St Mary's site - one in Critical Care, the other in Liver/Medicine.
You will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills, with formal training in parenteral nutrition, renal or critical care where appropriate. All rotations require skills to manage complex enteral tube nutritional support and multidisciplinary working.
We are a large, high profile, friendly department involved in undergraduate and post graduate medical training. The department is forward thinking and our service delivery is very much influenced by the audits and research projects we carry out which are supported by excellent IT facilities and Quality Improvement initiatives.
