We are seeking a senior clinician with extensive research/academic experience to join the University of Leeds as Professor of Child Health, to support the growth and delivery of our ambitious Child Health Outcomes Research at Leeds (CHORAL) programme. This £5 million initiative aims to focus research on improving outcomes for children and young people, particularly in areas such as severe childhood illnesses including cancer, neonatal and paediatric intensive care, health inequalities, and mental health.

You will be an established children’s health care professional (from any clinical discipline other than medicine or dentistry) with a strong record of interdisciplinary research, academic leadership, and training and supervision. Your expertise will align with one of CHORAL’s Multidisciplinary Research Groups: Improving Childhood Wellbeing, Transforming Outcomes Through Data Linkage, Children’s Cancer Translational Research, or Neonatal and Paediatric Intensive Care.

You will have an excellent research and publication record; your work will align with CHORAL’s aims and the strategic priorities of the University of Leeds and its key stakeholders. A national and international reputation in your field, supported by active engagement in professional, research, and education networks, is essential.
