•    Primary and secondary mental health care for children and adults including specialist inpatient child and adolescent mental health provision, perinatal mental health, forensic services including low and medium secure care.
•    Specialist community support for children and adults with learning disabilities and autism, including intensive support.

The Trust was first established in 2002 and employs approximately 7,000 staff who provide care from more than 400 sites. LSCFT are looking to recruit a full time Mental Health Service Manager for the Bay Network.  The successful candidate would be expected to cover the Bay Locality with the option of being based in Lancaster, Kendal or Barrow in Furness.  They will have a recognised core Mental Health Professional qualification (eg: RMN, SW, OT).

The post holder will be responsible for the operational management of Mental Health Acute and Urgent Care services within the Bay locality; their primary focus will be the Mental Health inpatient and flow pathway.  They will ensure that service lines deliver patient pathways that meet all quality and operational performance targets and that these are monitored and tracked. The post holder will lead, develop and manage teams within their portfolio to ensure that the services provide high quality care to service users.  There will be a strong focus on patient flow.  They will be required to lead on change across the Bay locality.
