Pharmacist Prescriber, Non-Medical Prescriber or Nurse Prescriber

AuDHD Psychiatry have an exciting opportunity for a self-employed Pharmacist Prescriber, Non-Medical Prescriber or Nurse Prescriber to join our team.  The postholder will have a key role across the service.  The role is a busy and varied one.  

This is a self-employed contractor position and is fully remote. 

We are looking to recruit a either a Pharmacist Prescriber, Non-Medical Prescriber or Nurse Prescriber to support our growing AuDHD Service.  You will play a pivotal role in supporting and managing ADHD in our clients.  Your role involves developing and implementing individualized care plans, prescribing medication and providing ongoing support and education to our clients.

At present we work with clients age 16+ but are hoping to open up our services to children and adolescents in the future.  We welcome applications from those with experience with either or both.  

There is also a Lead Prescriber / Registered Manager role if you would be interested in a more senior position.  

Main duties include:

•    Develop and implement individualized care plans, including prescribing medication as appropriate.
•    Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans, adjusting as necessary, including physical health monitoring.
•    Provide education and support to clients regarding ADHD and its management.
•    Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with legal and organizational standards.
•    Participate in supervision and ongoing mandatory and professional development activities.
•    Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.
