Linden Lodge School is a leading provider of education for children and young people aged 2 – 19 years with profound and multiple learning difficulties and sensory impairment, including deaf-blindness, physical disability, and complex medical needs.
We are a growing service with a focus on integrated and evidenced-based working as well as growing our provision to meet the needs of our young people. The team is made up of 24 on site PT/OT and SLT’s working across the school to provide therapy to our pupils with the opportunity to contribute towards and support ongoing service development.
We have the opportunity for a Band 5 Paediatric Occupational Therapist, passionate about integrated working and a desire to develop their career, in the Special School setting.
You don’t have to have worked in a school before but previous work or placement experience within a paediatric setting would be an advantage
You'll be working with a team supportive of colleagues committed to providing high quality therapy. We will support your development through a commitment to CPD and a protected training budget. The pay and conditions offered reflect NHS Agenda for Change & you can continue with your or start an NHS Pension fund within this post.
Due to working in a school environment the working pattern reflects the school year with term time working, yet with 3 weeks to be worked within the 10 weeks of school holidays at a time that suits yourself and the service.
The school is willing to consider sponsorship for Tier 2 Visas for the right candidates.
