Our Vision is to provide the best mental health, learning disability, autism, community, and physical health services for the populations we serve.
As an integrated Trust, Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust (LSCFT) delivers a comprehensive range of services, including:
- Primary and secondary mental health care for children and adults, including specialist inpatient child and adolescent mental health provision, perinatal mental health, and forensic services with low and medium secure care.
- Specialist mental health inpatient care for individuals with learning disabilities, alongside specialist community support for children and adults with learning disabilities and autism, including intensive support.
- Extensive community physical health and well-being services for children and adults, covering prevention, treatment, rehabilitation, and long-term condition management.
The Trust was first established in 2002 and employs approximately 7,500 staff who provide care from more than 400 sites. The organisation offers opportunities for medics, mental health, general nurses, children’s nurses, allied health professionals, psychology, administration and clerical staff, apprentices and volunteers, as well as those specialising in learning disabilities and community physical health services.

An exciting post for a Personal Assistant (PA) to join the Bed Management and Patient Flow Service. Working as part of a team the post holder will support the provision of a high quality secretarial and administrative service to the Leadership Team and wider network when required.
You will be a conscientious and enthusiastic team player with excellent organisational and communication skills with an accomplished secretarial background. The ability to manage your time, organise and prioritise your workload is essential to the role.
You will need to be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of confidentiality issues and to respond to queries within and outside of the organisation in a professional and empathetic manner using your own judgement and decision making skills.

You must be able to clearly and accurately convey information verbally gathered via the telephone and from both verbal and documented reports.
The post holder will have responsibility for meeting scheduling, minute taking and general administration for the Leadership Team within this Service. We are looking for a candidate with a positive, flexible, ‘can do’ attitude, who is comfortable with changing priorities and multi-tasking. They ideally will have proven administrative experience including maintaining office systems and experience of Microsoft Outlook diary management, together with a track record of working effectively under pressure and meeting deadlines.
Ideally, you will have NHS administrative experience to help you in understanding the organisation context and experience of supporting a Leadership Team in a large organisation.
