ADHD Psychiatrist
We are seeking an experienced UK-registered psychiatrist to join our remote neurodevelopmental service delivering ADHD assessments with Adults and Children
Location
Remote (UK-based)
(Assessments conducted online)
Hours
Sessional / flexible work. Regular weekly availability is preferred, though we can accommodate part time (minimum commitment to be agreed).
Key Responsibilities

Conduct high-quality Child ADHD diagnostic assessments in line with NICE guidance and relevant professional standards

Complete clear, evidence-based clinical documentation within agreed timeframes

Deliver structured feedback and recommendations following assessment (where applicable)

Work within established clinical pathways, templates, and governance processes
-
Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with data protection and safeguarding requirements

Collaborate with admin and operations teams to ensure a smooth patient journey
Essential Requirements

GMC registration with a licence to practise (UK)
-
Demonstrable experience conducting Child ADHD diagnostic assessments
-
Strong diagnostic formulation and clinical reasoning skills
-
Confidence working independently in a remote service environment
-
Ability to work to agreed turnaround times and clinical governance standards
-
Willingness to contribute to service quality processes (audit/peer review/supervision)
Desirable (Not Essential)

Experience in adult Autism assessments
-
Experience in adult ADHD assessments
-
Experience working in private practice or high-volume diagnostic services
-
Experience providing MDT input or clinical leadership support
-
Experience assessing children and young people (if applicable to service need)
