Job overview

We are seeking Radiographers to join our diverse and enthusiastic Radiology Team due to the continuing expansion of our Imaging Service. 

We are a fully DR department with wireless PACS connectivity in both theatre and mobile imaging. Our Department consists of six DR Plain Imaging rooms, a Fluoroscopy suite, two CT scanners, two MRI Scanners, a symptomatic Mammography department, DEXA unit and six non-obstetric Ultrasound rooms. We provide Radiographers and Image Intensifiers  to up to three theatre lists daily, including Trauma & Orthopaedics, Urology and Endoscopy. Radiographer rotation includes supporting Outpatient Clinics at a Healthcare Centre in the Olympic Park, Stratford. Main duties of the job

  • To assist in the provision of an efficient and patient centred radiology service.
  • To work as part of the departmental professional multidisciplinary team, providing a high-quality diagnostic service.
  • To maintain a sensitive, courteous, and caring approach to patients.
  • Supervising and training junior members of staff and students; supporting service delivery in a General Rotation – CT, Plain Film, Mobiles and Theatres and Endoscopy.
  • Participation in the out of hours rotation is required.
