About the role
As a specialised Medical Imaging Technologist, you will work in supportive, multidisciplinary teams delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging across hospitals and community settings. Your expertise in your chosen modality will be valued and developed, with access to modern equipment and ongoing professional development.
Who we’re looking for
We are seeking MITs with experience in one or more of the following areas:
· Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
· Nuclear Medicine and PET-CT
· Computed Tomography (CT)
· Mammography
Please note that applicants without specialty experience are not the primary focus for these roles.

Salary and benefits
Salary:
· Base scale: £34,200 to £48,000 GBP
· Recognition steps: up to £51,500 GBP for advanced practice
· Senior and leadership roles: may be paid from £49,300 to £67,000 GBP
Additional compensation: On-call, overtime, and availability allowances where applicable

· Reimbursement of professional registration fees

What you need to work here
You must hold registration or be eligible for registration with the Medical Radiation Technologists Board of New Zealand and ideally have specialist experience in at least one modality listed above.
