Our Vision is to provide the best mental health, learning disability, autism, community, and physical health services for the populations we serve.
As an integrated Trust, Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust (LSCFT) delivers a comprehensive range of services, including:
- Primary and secondary mental health care for children and adults, including specialist inpatient child and adolescent mental health provision, perinatal mental health, and forensic services with low and medium secure care.
- Specialist mental health inpatient care for individuals with learning disabilities, alongside specialist community support for children and adults with learning disabilities and autism, including intensive support.
- Extensive community physical health and well-being services for children and adults, covering prevention, treatment, rehabilitation, and long-term condition management.
The Trust was first established in 2002 and employs approximately 7,500 staff who provide care from more than 400 sites. The organisation offers opportunities for medics, mental health, general nurses, children’s nurses, allied health professionals, psychology, administration and clerical staff, apprentices and volunteers, as well as those specialising in learning disabilities and community physical health services.

At LSCFT we are passionate about providing high quality patient centred care. We are currently recruiting a forward thinking, reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our team within the East Lancashire Child and Adolescent Services Admin Team.
As a vital team member, you will provide excellent administration and communication skills and work flexibly in response to the service needs. You will provide day to day support whilst being the point of contact for the patients and clinical team.
You will have strong interpersonal and organisational skills, be computer literate and be able to use a variety of systems including Excel and Microsoft Office, possess excellent time management skills along with the ability to manage competing demands and priorities.
Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd
The role of the Receptionist / Audio Typist will be to provide clerical and administrative support to the medical and secretarial team within Children and Young Peoples Mental Health Service East (CYPMH East). The post holder will spend some part of the week audiotyping letters from the digital dictation system, and the rest rotating onto our reception area providing front line contact with our young people and families. The role will involve processing and navigating urgent calls from the general public.
The post holder will require competency in general admin, keyboard skills, good communication and an ability to work well within a team. An ability to understand the need for and to maintain confidentiality is essential.
