Applications are invited from therapy radiographers who would like to develop their career in a forward thinking, award winning and technically advanced radiotherapy department at The James Cook University Hospital.

Main duties of the job
The department is a forward-thinking department equipped with 4 Elekta Agility and 2 Elekta EVO Linacs. Featuring IRIS high-definition AI imaging and adaptive planning capability. Our service delivers advanced treatments including Symmetry 4D SABR, Cardiac SABR and DIBH further enhanced by 3 Catalyst HD C-Rad SGRT devices.

Person specification
Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Knowledge of radiotherapy planning & treatment delivery
- Knowledge of radiation biology, radiation dose and treatment fractionation and their implications in the safe delivery of radiotherapy
- Knowledge of current radiation protection regulations
Desirable criteria
- Knowledge of specific patient management & verification systems (eg. Mosaiq)
Qualification
Essential criteria
- Diploma of College of Radiographers (Therapy) or BSc (Hons) Radiotherapy or MSc Radiotherapy (pre-reg) or PhD Radiotherapy
- HCPC Registered
Experience
Essential criteria
- Clinical experience in a range of procedures, practices & equipment across the radiotherapy pathway

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
