Podiatry Clinical Services Manager

Grade 8

We are seeking an innovative and experienced Podiatry Clinical Manager to lead our student clinic based in the award-winning Daphne Steele Building. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a high-quality clinical learning environment that delivers excellent patient care while supporting the development of the future workforce.

The clinic operates as a student service, where podiatry students work alongside qualified clinicians and Academics to deliver care. You will play a pivotal role in integrating education, service delivery, and workforce development, ensuring a safe, effective, and inspiring clinical environment.

Working with the Strategic Lead for the Health and Wellbeing Academy, you will:

- Provide operational and clinical leadership for the podiatry clinic
- Oversee the delivery of safe, effective, patient-centred podiatry services
- Lead the development and sustainability of a student-supported model of care
- Work collaboratively with partners and stakeholders to support student placements and service developments
- Ensure robust clinical governance, safeguarding, and quality assurance processes
- Support, coach, and develop clinical staff and supervisors
- Drive service innovation to enhance access, experience, and outcomes
- Contribute to wider workforce transformation and placement expansion agendas

We are looking for a registered Podiatrist (HCPC), educated to degree level with significant post-registration clinical experience, including leadership or management responsibilities.

Demonstrating a strong commitment to education and workforce development, you will possess excellent communication, partnership, and organisational skills, and be passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.

We offer an excellent employment package, including hybrid working, blending a mix of remote and on-campus working (dependent on work duties).

This post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check. Regular status checks may also be required, depending on your role.
