Job overview

We are looking for an excellent, hardworking individual to join our  team in Vascular. The candidate will have substantial NHS experience in a similar role with excellent admin and communication skills and be able to hit the ground running! Experience of using Cerner patient database is essential.

The mains duties are to schedule vascular imaging patients. Clinics are held everyday with 5 scientists managing the service. This includes booking and cashing up of all clinics and managing the daily urgent walk in clinic. 

The post holder will be expected to cover other admin areas within the service as and when required. 

 

 

   

Main duties of the job

To schedule all vascular imaging clinics

To manage all clinic cancellations/reschedules

To keep the waiting times in line with RTT targets

To apply the Elective Access Policy

To communicate effectively with all levels of staff, patients and carers
