Have masters, degree or diploma level of Occupational Therapy qualification and registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The ability to provide holistic occupation-focused occupational therapy to offenders with ‘personality disorder’.

Experience

Experience of working with people with personality disorder or with people with mental health experience which could be described as akin to personality disorder or with people with complex mental health / psychological problems

Have an understanding of the importance of the therapeutic relationship in working with people complex mental health problems and the ability to establish and maintain effective therapeutic relationships

Fixed Term Contracts for existing NHS Employees – temporary contracts for employees of LYPFT, or colleagues joining from another NHS Trust, will be offered on a secondment basis wherever possible. In the event this is not possible, an FTC would be issued and this would require a break in service of two weeks.

The purpose of a temporary is role could be for maternity cover, temporary funding or some other reason. At the end of which the need for the temporary work will cease. Temporary roles can stop, be extended and/or made permanent at any point during the period of work. Should the role become permanent then the post-holder will be informed of the process to be followed to convert the position to a permanent one.

All new employees are required to subscribe to the DBS Update Service.

Salary: The starting salary is £66,876.20, which includes allowances totalling £17,206.20.

The salary is broken down as £49,670. basic salary. Plus, a shift allowance of 20% and a location allowance of £2,009 and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000. Plus a market supplement allowance of £5,000.

Working across a cluster of police custody suites, you’ll help create an environment where detainees receive the right care, and colleagues feel supported to deliver it. Community Children's Nurse - Akrotiri

About the role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for community children’s nurse to join our friendly, established community health team. We are a busy service with a diverse caseload working with service families and children in Cyprus.

We are looking for a confident, innovative paediatric nurse. You will be required to work in conjunction with the visiting Community Paediatrician and Consultant Paediatricians who provide secondary car as well as the medical officers and GPs, members of the SSAFA Community Health Care Team, schools, and voluntary agencies in your local area.

The post holder will be responsible for delivering a high standard of child focused, family centred care delivering high quality patient care according to agreed standards which are set and monitored.

You will be offered opportunities to develop both clinically and professionally within a supportive environment and encouraged to participate in service developments. Supervision and a comprehensive, supportive induction period are provided.
