  • Applying advanced physiotherapy clinical knowledge and skills relative to assessment and intervention, including early rehabilitation, advice, and guidance based on recent evidence within the Cardiothoracic and Vascular Intensive Care Unit
  • Leading in quality improvement, staff, and service development alongside advanced clinician colleagues and critical care educators
  • Evaluating service requirements and leading clinical research
  • Working collaboratively within the critical care teams on a day-to-day basis, providing clinical and operational support for a team of five physiotherapists
  • Motivating, guiding, and developing physiotherapy staff with varying levels of experience
  • Coordinating caseloads and ensuring appropriate rehabilitation is provided across both critical care teams, working collaboratively with the Advanced Clinician Physiotherapist for the Department of Critical Care Medicine (DCCM)
  • Contributing to the profession through the local application of contemporary, evidence-based practice and policy in the area of specialty both locally and regionally
  • Participation in our weekend and on-call physiotherapy service

Regardless of your experience, you will receive a thorough orientation and be well supported in your role. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of conditions from specialist services.
