Operations Manager

About the Role

Bethal Manna Care Limited is seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to join our senior leadership team. This is an active, hands-on leadership role with daily involvement in operations, compliance, quality assurance, and service development across supported living and domiciliary care services.

Working closely with Registered Managers, Directors, and a skilled administrative team, you will play a key role in driving excellence, maintaining compliance, and supporting the continued growth and development of our services.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strong operational leadership across supported living and domiciliary care services
  • Oversee daily service operations, logistics, and contracted care packages
  • Manage relationships with local authorities, commissioners, private clients, and stakeholders
  • Ensure full compliance with Care Quality Commission regulations and lead on inspections
  • Maintain high standards of safe, person-centred, and culturally competent care
  • Oversee safeguarding, risk management, incidents, and service-user welfare
  • Line-manage Lead Practitioners, Compliance, Accounting, and Administrative teams
  • Monitor service quality through audits, spot checks, and performance reviews
  • Support recruitment, staff development, supervision, and performance management
  • Contribute to policy and procedure development and continuous quality improvement
  • Manage and control service budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources
  • Ensure compliance with legislation including the Mental Health Act (1983), Mental Capacity Act (2005), and Care Act (2014)

About You

Essential Requirements

  • RMN, RGN, or RNLD qualification (Degree/Diploma level)
  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council
  • Proven post-qualifying experience, including at least 2 years in a community setting
  • Experience leading services through CQC inspection processes
  • Strong knowledge of health and social care legislation and safeguarding frameworks
  • Demonstrated leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills
