Job overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Fellow in Radiology to join our dynamic team at the Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust. We are a Trust nationally recognised for patient safety, cutting-edge technology, and excellent cancer services. This is a senior-level post offering broad exposure across all areas of general radiology, including cross-sectional imaging, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and image-guided procedures, all within a supportive and collaborative environment with strong links to the University of Surrey.
Applicants must hold full GMC registration, FRCR or equivalent, and have experience at ST2–ST6 level or above.
Main duties of the job
- Participate in the general out-of-hours on-call rota under consultant supervision
- Provide radiological reports and investigations across plain film, CT, MRI, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and image-guided procedures
- Contribute to teaching of junior doctors, radiographers, medical students, and nursing staff
- Take part in clinical audit, research, and radiological meetings
- Supervise junior medical staff professionally and support their development
- Ensure compliance with clinical governance standards and radiation safety regulations (IR(ME)R 2000)

- Able to evaluate own Radiological practice
- Experience in acute radiology and on-call periods including providing imaging protocals, vetting, prioritisation and reporting of acute imaging studies

- Experience in ultrasound guided procedures e.g. drains and FNAs
- Experience in fluoroscopic studies e.g tubograms, swallows, feeding tube insertions,
