Nursing Associate, CTPLD

This role is for a Registered Nursing Associate. 

The role will predominately be aligned to the East of Berkshire but cross cover as pressure and need arises. 

You will support individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Complex needs to achieve improved health and wellbeing outcomes and greater independence within the Community. 

You will be an enthusiastic, suitably skilled and experienced health care professional to undertake this role. 

You will support the ongoing development of our community-based specialist health services, for people with learning disabilities across Berkshire aimed at supporting people to remain in their communities and minimising admissions.

Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd

  • Work as part of a designated clinical and care team delivering care that focuses on the direct needs of the individual. Carry out specific clinical and care tasks and responsibilities to a high standard and competency, under the direction of a registered LD Nurse. 

  • Have the ability to work without direct supervision, at times delivering care independently in line with the individual’s defined plan of care, within the parameters of practice of the Nursing Associate role, accessing clinical and care advice when needed.

Education/Qualifications/Training

  • Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC register
  • Evidence of the Nursing Associate qualification
  • Evidence of Education to a minimum level 5 foundation degree specific to nursing associate practice
  • GCSE level 4-9(Grade A-C) in Maths and English or equivalent

  • Care certificate assessor

Continuous Professional Development

  • Previous experience of working within a health / care setting
  • Evidence of up to date relevant CPD
  • Understands requirements for NMC revalidation and shows evidence of on-going professional development through maintenance of NMC revalidation
  • Ability to engage and complete Berkshire Healthcare preceptorship programme
  • Committed to the advancement of nursing

Previous Experience
