Primary Care Nurse

NHS AfC: Band 6

Trosolwg o'r swydd

At HMP Peterborough, we are committed to delivering outstanding, compassionate healthcare to a diverse and often vulnerable population. As a Band 6 Primary Care Nurse, you will play a key role in providing high-quality, person-centred care within a secure custodial environment, helping to reduce health inequalities and improve health outcomes for those in our care.

This is a rewarding and varied role that offers the opportunity to work autonomously whilst being part of a supportive multidisciplinary healthcare team. You will assess, plan, deliver and evaluate evidence-based nursing care, manage long-term conditions, undertake health screening, promote wellbeing, and respond to a wide range of physical health needs.

As a Band 6 nurse, you will also provide clinical leadership and support to colleagues, acting as a role model who demonstrates professionalism, compassion and clinical excellence. You will contribute to service development, quality improvement initiatives and the ongoing delivery of safe, effective healthcare services.

We are looking for a motivated and compassionate registered nurse who shares NHFT's commitment to Putting People First, Respect, Inclusion, Dedication and Empowerment (PRIDE). You will be resilient, adaptable and passionate about making a positive difference to people's lives, working in partnership with patients, colleagues and external agencies to deliver the best possible care.
