Key Responsibilities:
- Booking appointments, answering telephones and dealing with general enquiries
- Adhere strictly to Trust policies and the Data Protection Act 1998, ensuring confidentiality and sensitive handling of patient information.
- Flexibly to support the team to meet operational needs.
Location:
· Based at Northwick Park Hospital.
· May be required to work across other Trust sites as necessary.

Main duties of the job
Main Duties

Work effectively both independently and as part of a team, managing pressure and workload efficiently.

Liaise with various hospital staff members to ensure smooth communication and coordination.

Provide and receive routine patient information, including from GPs, with tact, discretion, and adherence to Trust and Caldicott guidelines.
-
Handle enquiries professionally and cooperatively in person and over the phone from patients, medical personnel, and the general public.
-
Maintain high concentration levels during daily duties, especially when inputting data and responding to queries, ensuring accuracy to minimise clinical risk.

Manage potential exposure to distressing clinical information related to complex patient conditions and treatments with sensitivity.
