Are you an experienced Project Delivery Manager looking for an opportunity to help lead a varied and rewarding portfolio of healthcare construction projects

The Capital, Estates and Facilities Directorate at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (CUH) is seeking to recruit a talented and motivated Project Delivery Manager -  Capital Projects to join our Capital Planning and Development Team.

Working alongside a dedicated team of senior leaders, project managers, building and engineering managers, clerks of works and support staff, you will lead the Minor Works team in delivering a diverse portfolio of construction and infrastructure projects that directly support clinical services and enhance patient care across the organisation.

Reporting to the Head of Capital Projects, you will provide day-to-day leadership and management of the Minor Works delivery team, overseeing projects from inception through to successful completion. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality, governance and compliance.

Main duties of the job

This role combines leadership, people management, technical expertise and hands-on project delivery. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills are essential, as you will work closely with clinicians, senior managers, consultants and contractors to successfully deliver projects that improve healthcare facilities and support clinical excellence.

 The successful candidate will have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and a proven ability to lead and develop teams within a fast-paced environment. You will be a motivated leader with the ability to inspire colleagues, drive performance with your team and deliver successful project outcomes.
