Job overview
Are you looking for a rewarding role where no two days are the same? Join our innovative, nurse-led Burns Outreach and Outpatient Team, delivering specialist burns care across the London and South East Burns Network, serving a population of almost 10 million people.
This unique role offers the opportunity to care for patients throughout every stage of their recovery journey, working across outpatient clinics, inpatient wards, patients' homes and our pioneering Burns Outreach Bus.
Working within a highly skilled and supportive multidisciplinary team, you will develop specialist burns nursing expertise while enjoying a varied role that combines acute, outpatient and community practice. The position offers a high degree of autonomy, excellent professional development opportunities and the chance to make a lasting difference to patients and families.
We are looking for compassionate, motivated nurses who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient-centred care and embracing innovative ways of working. The service predominantly operates Monday to Friday, providing an excellent work-life balance, with only occasional later clinics and participation in a Saturday rota.
If you are ready to develop specialist skills, work within a forward-thinking service and help transform burns care across the region, we would love to hear from you.

Travel across the London and South East Burns Network to provide specialist outreach services and improve access to care closer to patients’ homes.
Contribute to service development, quality improvement, audit and innovation initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and the delivery of burns services.
Develop and maintain advanced specialist burns nursing knowledge and skills, participating in ongoing professional development within a dynamic and evolving clinical environment.
