Job overview

Our Hospitals Charity is the official charity of South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.  We support  patients, staff and families every year across the region in both main hospital sites at James Cook and the Friarage, as well as the wider community.   Giving over £1M in grants last year, we are committed to supporting our hospitals and community teams and work closely with our clinical and medical colleagues to fund activities, refurbishments and equipment that are over and above those which the NHS can provide.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for an enthusiastic , creative individual to become an integral part of our small fundraising team.

You will ideally have experience across a wide range of fundraising activities, including community, events, corporate and individual giving, and have the passion and commitment to deliver challenging targets.

You will have a proven track record in building and developing relationships with colleagues, supporters and the wider community, and be well used to delivering outstanding support care and stewardship at all time.

Working for our organisation

South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust have come together to form University Hospitals Tees. As a result, post holders may be required to work across sites within both organisations.

Across University Hospitals Tees, our ambition is to be the best place to work, ensuring we have the right staff in the right roles at the right time to deliver outstanding patient care and experience.
