Salary: Competitive starting salary range from £39,324 up to £44,710 (dependent on experience) with the potential to progress. A discretionary range for candidates with exceptional experience can be discussed/considered

The Role

We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Low Intensity Psychological Interventions to join our current Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) training delivery team within CU Health & Care.

We are looking for a passionate Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to join the team currently delivering our Graduate/Postgraduate Certificate in Low Intensity Psychological Interventions. The course sits alongside our Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, will be opportunities to receive mentorship from staff across the curriculum area as part of the role.

You will support the Senior Leaders and wider team members in the delivery of low intensity psychological therapies training in line with our national curricula and professional body requirements. You will undertake teaching sessions and workshops, and marking of clinical and academic submissions.

Applications are invited from BABCP/BPS-registered PWPs with a good understanding and working knowledge of the Low Intensity PWP role within NHS stepped-care Talking Therapies services.

Applicants will need to demonstrate significant knowledge in this area of clinical specialisation, and be committed to supporting the design and delivery of teaching that is engaging, innovative and which facilitates proficiency in low intensity cognitive behavioural assessment and intervention.

Qualifications Required

•    Master’s degree in appropriate subject OR (if from a professional practice background) a good Honors Degree and an appropriate professional qualification and/or membership

•    Active membership of, and registration with, an appropriate professional body (BPS/BABCP)
