The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute Hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon and offers a wide range of services including accident and emergency, inpatient care, day surgery, outpatient clinics and maternity services. The Trust’s services at Mount Vernon Hospital include routine day surgery, delivered at a modern treatment centre, a minor injuries unit and outpatient clinics.

Essential criteria
- Completed Care Certificate or equivalent experience.
- Bedside Emergency Assessment Course for HCA’s (BEACH) or willingness to undertake.
- Awareness of risks, identifying them and alerting appropriate personnel
Desirable criteria
- Level 2 or 3 Health Care qualification/apprenticeship, or completion of Band 3 Excellence in Care Competencies for existing Band 2 substantive HCSW
- Experience of taking clinical observations
- Competently perform a range if the core skills relevant to the area of speciality.
