Band 8a
Trosolwg o'r swydd
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Antimicrobial Stewardship Pharmacy Team based at Aintree Hospital. The post-holder will play a key role in the management of patients with a range of complex infections, including active involvement in prescribing and optimising antimicrobial therapy for this patient group. The role will also support the supervision and development of pharmacists and technicians within the pharmacy service, ensuring the provision of a high-quality, safe and effective clinical pharmacy service.
We are seeking a dynamic, motivated and forward-thinking clinical pharmacist, ideally with demonstrable experience in antimicrobial stewardship, infectious diseases or anti-infective medicines, who will act as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will undertake specialist patient review, contribute to and attend multidisciplinary meetings, and work closely with consultants, specialist nurses, microbiologists and infection specialists to optimise antimicrobial use and support complex clinical decision-making.
