An exciting opportunity has arisen, for an emerging leader to fulfil the role of a Band 8a Lead Nurse for our Specialist Hip and Knee CNS Team. We are looking for a dynamic and compassionate nurse leader committed to the highest standards of care/patient experience, improvement and innovation. The CNS Lead along with their team work with the Joint Reconstruction Unit Consultants and Operational colleagues to provide specialist continuity of care for patients with hip and knee conditions requiring surgery. This role will enable you to use your considerable leadership skills, clinical knowledge and, to take a leading role in supporting the CNS team to ensure they get the most out of their team’s collective knowledge and skills. The CNS Lead will direct, promote and develop the specialist hip and knee team and be able to demonstrate a commitment to the Trust’s ethos by maintaining professional standards of care within the RNOH orthopaedic community. Candidates will have at least two years’ experience as a Band 7 within this speciality or similar role.
