An exciting Opportunity has arisen for dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join Forensic Administration Service at The Humber Centre as a Ward Clerk.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with previous clerical experience who can communicate at all levels, work flexibility and is able to organise and prioritise their workload.
Good communication skills are essential and we are looking for an individual with a passion to work in a team delivering key interventions to working aged adults.
This role will support the inpatient service within the forensic division. Working hours between 08:00 - 16:00 Monday - Friday.
Main duties of the job
- The post holder will work as an essential member of the admin team and support in delivering an effective, efficient, responsive, and high-quality service
- Provide administrative support to clinical teams and support services within standard administrative procedures
- Contribute to the planning and development of the service/department as a member of the team
- Provide admin support to non-medical staff in the day-to-day running of the ward
- Checking/ordering ward supplies, stationery, and goods using Oracle
- General office duties
- Physical Exertion/moving and handling

Qualifications, Education & Training
Essential criteria
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience.
Desirable criteria
- Knowledge within administrative services within the NHS
Knowledge & Experience
Essential criteria
- Knowledge of administrative processes and systems, some of which are non-routine and non-routine activities such as answering queries, progress chasing, and task related problem solving which can be acquired through experience and training to vocation level 2 or equivalent.
- Experience of using Word, Excel, Outlook.
Desirable criteria
- Experience of utilising electronic clinical record keeping systems.
- Experience of working within a secure setting.
- Experience of using oracle stock ordering system.
Skills and Competencies & Personal Qualities
Essential criteria
- Use of Visual Display Unit
- Basic keyboard skills
