Job overview

We are seeking an experienced, qualified and in-date Emergency Response Driving Instructor to join our dedicated team on a full-time basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of our established instructor team, supporting the continued delivery and development of our nationally recognised emergency response driver training programmes. You will play a key role in developing the next generation of emergency response drivers, helping ensure our frontline clinicians have the skills, knowledge and confidence to respond safely and effectively to patients when it matters most.

Our instructor team provides comprehensive training to newly appointed Paramedics and Emergency Care Assistants, equipping them with the specialist emergency response driving skills they rely on every day. Alongside core emergency response driver training, we also deliver a diverse range of specialist operational courses, including 4x4 off-road driving, trailer towing, convoy driving and other specialist driver training.

Working as part of a professional and supportive team, you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge and experience while contributing directly to the Trust’s emergency response capability. You will be responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality instruction and helping learners develop the competence and confidence required to operate safely in challenging and demanding environments.
