Are you a physiotherapist who has extensive experience in Women’s Health and keen to work in a first-class teaching hospital? Are you committed to the provision of evidence-based practice and the development of staff? Do you want to work in an environment with world class facilities with a focus on pelvic health; education of undergraduate and postgraduate students; research and clinical audit?
We are a friendly place to work, hold wellbeing activities, are an inclusive and diverse department with a professional development teaching programme supporting you to gain knowledge and skills as you begin your leadership journey.
The post holder will oversee a team at Whipps Cross Hospital and Newham. They will have the opportunity to work alongside different specialties including, Obstetric department, Urology department, Maternity department and attend MDT’s.
Funding for external courses will be supported where possible.

To provide specialist assessment, treatment, and advice to patients within the field of women’s health, facilitating and maximising patient potential within the service boundaries

- • To have clinical experience in the relevant field at Band 7
- • Evidence of recent and relevant managerial experience e.g. team leader

- • Expert knowledge of relevant Women’s health conditions
- • Evidence of ability to demonstrate leadership and supervisory skills
- • Understand clinical governance and its implications for service delivery and demonstrate evidence of its application such audit and SOP
Knowledge

- • Training of junior staff in relevant conditions, treatment and management
Qualifications

- Post graduate training in specialist field demonstrating advanced knowledge and treatment of complex pelvic health conditions.
